Mrs. Larson
lori larson

Hello Kendallvue! My name is Lori Larson and I am thrilled to be here teaching Kindergarten! The last several years I worked as a Reading teacher. Before that, I was a classroom teacher for 17 years at various schools.. I have taught Kindergarten through fifth grade. My career began in Clear Creek School District in Idaho Springs then I moved to Jefferson County.  I have a degree in Child Development and a Master’s Degree in Whole Learning.

My husband Eric and I have two grown sons, Ethan and Zane. We are also blessed to have two beautiful daughter-in-law, Amanda, and Zoe! My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. You may find us on the golf course, riding bikes, skiing, or catching a Bronco game! And of course, I always enjoy reading a good book!

It is a pleasure to be part of the Kendallvue family. I enjoy working with all the wonderful families in this community.  I‘m looking forward to an amazing year full of learning and growth.

Happy Learning!

Mrs. Livingston
Jamie Livingston

My name is Jamie Livingston and this is my first year at Kendallvue Elementary  teaching Kindergarten! I have taught first grade for the past nine years at Molholm Elementary in Lakewood and spent 2 years teaching Kindergarten in DPS.

I was born and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. I attended Central Michigan University where I received my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education. I also have a certificate in Cultural Linguistic Diverse Education from the Metropolitan State University of Denver.

When I’m not not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. My husband, Jason, and I moved out to the Denver area in 2009. We have two beautiful daughters; Ellie, 6 and Everly, 4. We love to spend time camping, biking, reading, and playing make believe! I also like to workout, read and walk our nine year old yellow lab, Cali, when I get time to myself.

I believe that in order for students to be successful learners, they need to develop a love for learning. This is done through creating confidence, creativity and curiosity. I encourage students to ask questions, use hands-on learning, and do things in a way that makes sense to them while giving an explanation as to why. I also believe that parent/teacher communication is key. This is how we build a relationship with each other and work together to create lifelong successful learning experiences for students.

I’m excited to be here at Kendallvue this year and supporting students to make as much growth as they can!

Ms. Harroun

Beth Harroun

My name is Beth Harroun and I am starting my 17th year teaching! I grew up on a farm in Illinois and started my education at Illinois State University where I received an English/Creative Writing degree. I moved to Colorado after graduation and worked for Americorps as a resource to homeless families and children in need in Adams District 50. While spending time bringing literacy resources to the children in these schools, I realized my heart truly belongs in the classroom. I received my Elementary Education license to teach at Metro State College and have been in the classroom ever since, specifically the primary grades!

I have continued to do some writing for publications such as Rocky Mountain Sports Magazine and the Vail Daily over the years and have also helped create educational materials for the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens children’s camps in Vail, Colorado. I love sharing my passion for reading and writing with children.

On my days off, I love spending time with my family, friends, and black lab! I enjoy hiking, running, yoga, skiing, spending time in the mountains and I absolutely love to dance and sing! I am so excited to be a part of this community teaching the wonderful children at Kendallvue Elementary!
