Hello Kendallvue family! My name is McKenna Bliss or Ms. Bliss and I will be teaching 4th grade this year.

I grew up here in Colorado and attended Littleton Public Schools. I graduated from Samford University in Birmingham, AL with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, Special Education and Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I decided to move back home to the beautiful state of Colorado and currently live in Centennial!

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends, my boyfriend Derek and of course, my puppy Piper! I love exploring new places, trying new restaurants and going to hockey games and concerts whenever I can. In my downtime, I enjoy reading and watching a good movie or TV show!

I am so excited to be back at Kendallvue for my second year of teaching. Last year I taught 3rd grade and I am very lucky to get another year with those same students in 4th grade. I truly believe that the best learning occurs through relationships and community. I am thankful for the opportunity to continue building relationships with previous, as well as new students. I am always looking to grow and learn alongside my students so I am very eager to get back into the classroom very soon! I am looking forward to a fabulous year in 4th grade at Kendallvue!

Hi Kendallvue Community! My name is Jillian Christensen. This will be my first year teaching, and I could not be more excited to begin my career teaching fourth grade at Kendallvue!

I grew up in Australia and Littleton, CO. I attended a few different schools growing up, including some in Jeffco! I recently graduated from Rhodes College in Memphis, TN with a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies.

When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends! I enjoy trying new restaurants, finding cozy coffee shops, shopping, and playing field hockey. I also love traveling to new cities and countries, but my favorite place to be is always in the mountains!

I have been dreaming of the day when I’d have my own classroom with my very own students - I can’t believe that day is finally here! I believe in creating a safe and inclusive environment where students can explore their interests and discover new passions. I am looking forward to establishing a learning community where my students can work together, support one another, and challenge each other. When I was in school, my teachers always took the time to develop a lasting relationship with me and to understand my needs as a learner - I hope to be that type of teacher for your students this year and in the years to come. This is going to be a year of tremendous growth for both my students and myself, and I am so excited to get started!
