Morning Drop Off Routine

As we navigate the morning rush, let’s lead by example with extra patience and kindness in the parking lot and "hug and go" lane. A little grace goes a long way in keeping our students safe and the traffic flowing smoothly for everyone!

To ensure the safety of all students, please adhere to the following procedures for morning Hug & Go:

• Enter the Hug & Go in the right-hand lane and pull as far forward as possible.  Follow directions of the crossing guard. 
• Use the left lane (thru-traffic) to park and walk your student(s) to the front door.  There is no access to the Hug & Go lane from the left lane.  
• Students should be ready to exit cars from the passenger side in the Hug & Go lane anywhere along the curb past the crosswalk.  Cars must pull forward as far as possible to allow for more cars to enter the Hug & Go lane.  
• Vehicles will move single file in the right-hand lane for student drop-off all the way up to the student drop off sign.  Please wait until you pass the crosswalk to let your student out of the car.  
  • Only when directed by the crossing guard, students may be let out before the crosswalk (in the red zone) - please do so quickly to move the line forward.  
• Students must exit vehicles on the passenger side ONLY. 
• Adults - remain in your cars in the Hug & Go lane. 
• Enter the Hug and Go in the right-hand lane and pull as far forward as possible - up to the student drop off sign.  
• Enter the parking lot through the left lane to park and walk your student(s) to the front door.
