Meet the Principal
Principal Bruce Lindsey
Hello,
Welcome to Kendallvue Elementary. My name is Bruce Lindsey and I am the proud principal of Kendallvue Elementary.
My personal story begins in Kansas City where I was born and lived until I was six years old. We moved to New Jersey and spent most of my childhood growing up on the East Coast.
We spent our summers, “going down the shore” and while I love Colorado, I do miss the ocean on those hot days! I went to three different high schools after we moved away from New Jersey and that is one major reason why I came to a career in education.
After my senior year in California, I came back to school (University of Denver) and have been here ever since. My wife is also a teacher and we have two beautiful girls. My oldest is in middle school and our youngest is in fourth grade.
As for my professional journey, I have 26 years of experience in the education field. My experiences in education are varied ranging from teaching, coaching and administration. I started at the high school level and have spent the last 10 years at the PK-8 level.
I came to Kendallvue in 2021 and I have been loving every moment of it! Kendallvue has a rich history of instructional excellence and community involvement. We will carry on these traditions and make new ones along the way.
My vision for our school is to strive to be the best elementary school in Jeffco. Kendallvue is a place for students to thrive and be the best version of themselves. We believe our school exists to ensure “All students at Kendallvue are curious, creative, and confident learners.” Our mission statement is exemplified in our daily practices and our vision for all our students.
We are excited you are considering our school by exploring our website. Please contact the main office if you are interested in visiting our school for a tour or if you have any questions we may answer.
Cheers,
Bruce Lindsey
