Natalie Payant
PTA Secretary

Hello! I am Natalie Payant. I have been a member of the PTA and Team Kendallvue since my oldest daughter entered Kindergarten in 2011. She is now in 8th grade at Carmody Middle School, and I also have two daughters who will be in 5th grade and 3rd grade. In addition, I provide transportation for my childcare families to the Kendallvue preschool. I am excited to serve as the Secretary for our organization and to continue to be involved in the community we have created to support the needs and goals of our students and staff. I feel very fortunate that our daughters are forming their educational foundation in the dedicated and innovative environment so many have been a part of creating at Kendallvue!
A native of Colorado, I attended preschool in Aurora before moving to Wisconsin for early elementary school and then graduated from Eden Prairie High School in Minnesota. I attended Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education and Reading. There I met my husband, Nathan, and completed my Master's Degree in Elementary Classroom Teaching and Learning. Very soon after, we moved to Colorado, married, and both began our first teaching jobs all in a matter of months! After teaching sixth grade for five years in the JeffCo School District and completing an ESL endorsement, I opened my licensed family childcare home business in the summer of 2009. This allowed me to be more involved in our three young daughters' growth and development while still utilizing my teaching background and skills. I am proud of the imaginative and connected learning environment "A Place to Grow Child Care" offers and the quality childcare I am able to provide for families. When I am not caring for little ones, I also enjoy coaching my daughters' soccer teams, attending choir concerts and musical performances my husband is involved in, serving as a coordinator for youth programs at our church, playing with our three Westies, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
As a member of Team Kendallvue, I strive to invite all of our families to get connected to our school and classrooms and find ways to nurture the learning and growth that is taking place based on our own strengths and interests. There is power in our children seeing us as parents, grandparents, guardians, and friends investing our time in the school and being a part of the exciting educational opportunities our kids are experiencing. It is my true hope that everyone who is a part of the Kendallvue community feels welcomed, valued, and invited to lend any and all of their gifts in a shared goal of supporting our students to become content and confident individuals who are successful in both academic and social settings and feel supported to pursue their dreams.
